Super Eagles striker Anthony Nwakaeme has turned down a lucrative move to the Chinese Super League outfit Beijing Guoan according to reports.
The 28-year-old Nwakaeme has banged on 12 goals from 24 appearances in all competitions this season for Hapoel Beer-Sheva who has 18 months of his current contract with the Isreali outfit.
Nwakaeme has delayed any possible transfer talk until the summer as he has been likened with move to team up with Nigerian captain John Obi Mike in China
"There’s a concrete offer from China and a team in the Bundesliga but I want to see out the season with Hapoel-Beer Sheva then maybe in the summer discuss potential moves,” Nwakaeme told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I’m focussed on the team and hopefully, we can land another league title at the end of the season.”
One cap Super Eagles star Nwakaeme joined the Hapoel Beer-Sheva from Hapoel Raanana in 2015 and he hoping to make Genort Rorh World Cup party in Russia.
